A slim upholstered bed base — no headboard, just the platform. The full slat system supports the mattress directly, so you skip the box spring and keep the whole bed low. Useful if you've already got a headboard you like, or if you want the mattress to be the only thing anyone sees. The polyester cover is tight and tailored rather than loose.
